Exercise Participation Hunterdon ARES Team Play:
Hunterdon ARES will be conducting the exercise on the Cherryville Repeater at: 147.375 (+) MHz, PL151.4 on Saturday, October 27, from 0900 to 1200 hours local time. (You may check in for part or all of the exercise) To participate, check in with the NCS. If your organization requires an After Action Report, ask the NCS for a copy at the end of the exercise. A certificate of participation will be available upon request. 


Exercise Overview
The purpose of the Formidable Footprint Tabletop Exercise is to provide an opportunity for community, faith and neighborhood based organizations along with governmental agencies to assess their capabilities to prepare for, respond to and recover from a flood.
During the exercise participants will:
•    Gain a thorough understanding of how prepared their organization or agency is for a flood.
•    Establish a concept of operations that will guide their organization or agency through the process of responding to a flood to meet the disaster caused needs of community residents.

Exercise Scenario
After several days of heavy rain fall throughout the region neighborhoods begin to experience rising waters.
As flood waters begin to threaten their homes, residents prepare to evacuate. Seeking all forms of assistance, many of the residents have been calling their 911 Centers.
Within 12 hours rivers in Hunterdon Co. are verging on flood stage. The Delaware River has just reached flood stage in Stockton, Lambertville and downstream past head-of-tide in Trenton (Mercer Co.). The Raritan River, Affecting Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, has reached flood stage in both North and South Branches and will not crest for hours.
