I have been advised by NNJ ARES leadership that the ARES status has been raised to
"Standing By"
as of noon, today (3/10/11).
This means - it's time to have your go-kit ready... we may be called to help with communications at rergional Red Cross shelters.
Do not self-deploy... wait until we're asked.
>From tonight thru Sunday, expect flooding through northern NJ.
Passaic River will, likely, flood at Pine Brook and Little Falls.
Pompton River and Ramapo River may flood locally.
The Raritan River is expected to cause "moderate" flooding in Bound Brook.
The Delaware River will reach flood stage at Stockton, Riegelsville and Tocks Island. Downstream of stockton, watch for minor flooding.
Again, flooding may last from tonight through Sunday.
On a personnal note: take care and keep your families safe.

EC, Hunterdon ARES
