[W2CRA] Call for Volunteers for March of Dimes Walkathon for Babies

Hi, Folks, The March of Dimes is holding its Charity Walkathon at Spruce Run Recreation Area.

The event is being held on April 26 (Sunday)
Setup begins at about 0700 and the event goes 'til eleven-ish.

The purpose is to give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money raised supports programs in the community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten babies.

So far, I have three volunteers to help with radio communications at the event. I would like eight.

The walking trail is entirely within the park - about six miles - and we need people to direct and keep track of the walkers, warn traffic, call for inventory at the water/snack tables, and, if necessary, call for the sag-wagon.
