I'll put my two cents in. Ham Radio as long as I've known it has been 
dominated by old men. Yeah you get young kids once in awhile, they hang 
around, then they disappear. If we think that we are going to get a lot of 
kids into these classes we are dreaming. I think as a whole Ham Radio does a 
lousy job of promoting itself.
I still enjoy the club, the public service events, the meetings, field day, 
I don't seem to notice a big change in the club? Those ringers at field day, 
they barely said hello to all the folks who did all the work putting up the 
towers, cooking the food, and cleaning up.
