Subject: Skywarn Training Oppotunity
Skywarn "weather spotter" training has been schedule for April 14,
2005, 7:00 pm at the Dempster Fire Academy, Mercer County. This course
is about two hours long and is a great way to learn weather basics.
Skywarn Spotters will receive information on how to report sever
weather to the National Weather Service to help the NWS with warnings
and storm reports.
This free training is open to the public to include children of
appropriate age and interest.
This training is required for jurisdictions applying for "StormReady"
status.
Registration is to me at lppmossm at gw.njsp.org.
Thanks for spreading the word!
