A VE testing session will be held this evening (Thursday, May 2) at the
American Red Cross building, 52 Main Street in Flemington. The building is
about half way between the monument in downtown Flemington and Rt. 31.
Testing is scheduled to start at 6:30, and walk-ins will be allowed. All
four elements are available to be taken. If you come, please bring a copy of
your current license, two forms of ID (one should be a picture ID), and $10,
either cash or check. Checks can be made out to ARRL-VEC.
For those looking to get the Extra class license, remember the question
pool currently in use ends at the end of June, and the new pool and element
4 exam will be longer and reportedly more difficult. Now is the time!
Some thunder storms are predicted for this evening, but unless power is
lost for an extended time, we'll forge ahead with the exams. See you
tonight.
