[W1SMH] Norton Founders Day final email

 For those of you who have signed up and for those of you who want to Volunteer.
The Norton Founders Day is this Saturday June 18th at the H A Yelle School Playground 64 West Main St Norton
Volunteers should report to the NEMA Command Post located behind the School for their assignments at 4:00PM

The uniform of the day will be HiViz Yellow/Black Shirt if you have it or CERT Green shirt or a nice T-shirt (no Slogans) if that is what you have. Dark pants or shorts and a NEMA/CERT baseball cap or other and comfortable shoes. A HiViz Vest is also required

Equipment required will be a flashlight and/or traffic wand. If you want to bring a folding chair for periods of inactivity that is fine
Radios for Hams will be 2M VHF Simplex. FRS/GMRS radios will be used for non hams and the Event Staff. as well as UHF Public Safety radios on Mansfield EMA's repeater frequency. We will have extra equipment and vests for those that don't. 

There will be water and soda available for breaks and a supper break at about 7:30PM will be Pizza or Hot Dogs.

Please bring your family and enjoy this fun filled event. The Fireworks will go off about 9:10PM. The mass exodus will start about 
9:30PM and we should be out of their by 10:00PM
