I have for some time looked for a clock for my shack and could not seem to
satisfy all of my requirements which are:
Accurate (I'm not interested in what time it was not)
	Digital
	Selectable 12/24 hour format.
Easily read (my eyes are not what they used to be)
	Easily mounted/hung/located
Battery backed up or independent of AC

The solution: the SkyScan "Atomic" clock. It is accurate; it uses the 60kc
sync signal from NIST. It is digital with 2" high contrast numerals for the
time display and will selectively display 12 or 24 hour format in any of the
24 time zones. The lower display includes day, date, moon phase (?) icon,
and either ambient temperature (F or C) or ticking seconds in smaller
alphanumeric . I think it also has an alarm which I do not use.

After battery insertion (no AC), initial setup is reasonably straight
forward; it will hang on a wall like picture frame (3/4" thick) and has fold
out legs to stand up like a picture. I can read it all the way across the
house, does not seem to mind either being close to 600 watts of RF or hiding
behind aluminum siding from WWV-D on my outside wall.

It attempts to sync on the hour during the early AM and looks for once a day
success; it does miss a day from time to time; an icon show success or not
( time is OK success or not).

Looks nice! Works! I selected an XYL compatible case color! What more
does one need? $20 @ Sams!
