[Vintage-Audio] OT Video Inquiry

Hi All,

Sorry to be off the topic here, but the old blind dude needs some sighted 
wisdom!

I just got the complete set of the original Star Trek series on DVD. None of 
them will play on my DVD for TV gear. I have a high end Pioneer DVL-919 and 
a Sony unit.

None of my DVD equipment is for Blue Ray, which I think is HD.

The DVD unit rejects the DVD as if it could not find the index track or the 
disk was empty.

I am wondering if this DVD set may be Blue Ray, as I have seen them 
advertised for the Star Trek original series. If they are Blue Ray will they 
work with my non-Blue Ray gear?
