Thank you, Robert! Jim Thayer and I have both been posting updates to the
SWL and Hallicrafters lists, and I appreciate it very much that you thought
to pass the news here, since I haven't posted here in quite a while.
Anyway, in addition to the kidney problems and diabetes, Duane has suffered
a stroke that has impaired the use of his hands,
and has also been having chest pains. He was admitted to a nursing home
this past Thursday, but when he developed chest pains,
he had to return to the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI, where he still
is at this writing. Robert is correct that cards for Duane should
be sent to his daughter's address, since it's not clear yet how long Duane
will be hospitalized, and he'll most likely be going back to the nursing
home and not to his own house.
Thanks to everyone for all of your concern. I know it means a lot to Duane
and to his daughter and grandchildren!
73 and thanks--
Marie Lamb
