Michael,

Right now you do not know what you are missing, hence, no baseline to
compare the differences of speaker wiring. When you hear the difference, you
will have answered your own question! That "WOW" may be a suddenly blurted
out "DAMN!"! So be sure you have an empty bladder before you do the first
vinyl spin with the speed wire!

FYI: Speed Wire may no longer be the correct name for this 22 (or thinner)
gauge, solid core, two conductor wire. By two conductor I mean you run just
one length of wire to the speaker, split the two insulated conductors apart,
strip the ends of both and connect them to the positive and negative speaker
connectors.

I normally split the two conductor wire apart prior to running it from amp
to speakers. I let each conductor be about six inches long and tie a loose
knot in one of them down by the start of the split. I then carefully follow
the wire to the opposite end and do the same with the other end. This I
always use as my marker for the "positive" wire! Regardless of wire
insulation color, that knot always tells you which is which! Not only is
this great for a totally blind person, it is also wonderful for you sighted
guys who can not see the blasted wire when it is behind the console or the
reel to reel tape deck or the speaker tower or ...

Let me know when you wire her up and amaze yourself Michael!
