Hi All,
Yes, I know. I am being sinful by asking a question about a piece of gear
that is not vintage. Please flog me later with some limp spaghetti tubing.
I have a very nice Panasonic Platinum RXDT 690 portable. The so called "Boom
Box". When you load this baby up with a dozen 'D' cells, four AA and two AAA
batteries, it should be called a "Hernia Box"!
It has three speakers per cabinet; a tweeter, midrange and a six inch
woofer. The audio is excellent! It has a bass boost knob and a four band
graphic EQ.
It says that it is "Bi-Amped", refering to the speakers. What it does not
tell me, is how much power is being delivered to the speakers, from one or
both amplifiers.
If one of you would please be so kind and do some checking on the Internet
for me on this model, I would like to know the continuous RMS power output.
I would also like to know what speakers are "Bi-Amped"; the tweeter +
midrange on each side, the tweeters on each side or?
Thank you very much! Sorry for sinning, but those of you who had the
dellusion that I was perfect, well now you know the truth! Far from it!
