Pirate radio returns to the air through Tuesday as the sounds of the
60's pirate broadcasters Radio Caroline and Radio London are re-created
on BBC. The old DJs are onboard the LV18 lightship, playing actual
vinyl records from 1964-7 when they were originally on the air,
commemorating the week in 1967 when British laws finally forced them off
the air. Ironically, forty years later the pirate voices are being
broadcast via several BBC medium wave outlets, as well as via Real Audio
throughout the world: http://www.bbc.co.uk/essex/local_radio/
