But the availability of the  16 2/3 RPM speed on record players of that 
era proved to be too tempting for this 10 year-old Boy Scout trying to

RPM!   After the instructor found out I'd memorized most of it from 
playing at half speed, I was introduced to the Farnsworth Method!
