I remember the 16 2/3 rpm records and saw a few during my teen years.  They were the talking book records with voice content only.  They played a looong time on a side.  Production of these microgroove discs were for the blind, the illiterate, and those too lazy to read for themselves.

I have enjoyed the many threads on this reflector and the old memories they have reawakened.  Keep it up!
