Don,
I had a Sony 630 with sound on sound/sound with sound and variable echo. I had a
lot of fun on Halloween night with that deck. They called it a 'deck', but it
had removable speakers that formed the front cover and a built in stereo
amplifier. Nobody could tell who it was with that echo effect on! What a blast.

Hey Duane and the group
Back in the sixties I had and still do a Sony cartridge 8 track
recorder and a reel to reel Sony with echo-plex on it (two heads)
and I used to spend hours and hours transcribeing 33's, 45's
onto 8 track tape with the "special effects" of the echo to make
them sound "GREAT".
I used to record the top ten and sell them in "Drive In s "
for extra money . but as all things have to come to a end ,
The BIG BOYS got to my suppliers for blank tapes and cut me off.

now we do it with MP-3's and the Internet
