Greetings, 	
	
What is the 'real' advantage of a stereo uni-directional reel to reel deck
recording two tracks as opposed to a deck recording two tracks in both
directions?	
	
The obvious is that the two tracks one direction only are twice as wide and
should have greater fidelity and better frequency response with less roll off.
What else?	
	
Assume the tape speed is 7.5 ips.
