Seems to me I recall Stereophile some time back stating
that the Radio Shack low-cost zip cord for speaker wire
comes very close to the big $$$$ cables in performance.
And these guys can use anything regardless of cost. So
it can't be that bad Duane.
Myself I use 10 ga. stranded kryptonite teflon coated
litz wire with a neon OPEN sign connected in series
with the positive terminal. This results in a very low
noise floor. <wink>
