No, nothing like it. Zip cord is lousy as a line cord, let alone for audio!
Speed wire is solid conductor, not multiple strand, two conductor and about a
third the size of line cord/zip cord. Velocity factor is high.

Could this be zip cord Duane? If so then it is common
two conductor electric wire like found on tv and radio
power cords.
