Sure, but a lube kit is still only about $20 plus shipping, from 
Germany.  That's cheaper than trying to assemble all of the right items 
oneself, and far cheaper than paying a qualified tech to clean the whole 
thing out if you botch the job with the wrong stuff.  Please believe me, 
"a little oil here and a little grease there" is NOT the way to 
happiness with one of these.

All you need is the lube chart from the service manual - many are on 
line - plus the kit and some patience.  Or a lot of patience.  I've been 
keeping my 1219 running for 32 years now, and every two or three years I 
STILL have to re-learn the lube chart.  Sigh.

I'm running out of some of the lubes.  There used to be places in the 
U.S. that stocked the kit, at least before United Audio vanished into 
thin air in 1989.  If I find any I'll post it.
