[Vintage-Audio] Dual 1226 turntable lubrication

Think like a German engineer? More like a buffet chef! Before he goes broke
lubricating this turntable, it might be wise to make sure the drive mechanism is
operative. Getting parts is almost impossible. It took me almost two months to
train the stupid Gerbils which direction to run on their treadmill to drive the
turntable in the proper direction. If you think opera is hard listening, try
hearing it in reverse! Sounds like a toilet being power flushed by somebody in
tongues!

It's ALL of them, Duane. They're all different products, for two or
three dozen lube points. Think like a German engineer. hi hi

Duals are something of a special breed of cat. Beautiful pieces of
engineering, but hell on earth to service if you don't know what you're
doing. And I sure don't claim to.
