Like any bad speaker, you may get something acceptible from the use of a =
parametric, not graphical, eq... I have found from my own experience =
that the negative effects of inferior enclosures with distracting =
resonant effects, for instance, can be modulated, but not eliminated, =
using very controlled equalization, something parametric eq can do but =
graphic eq simply cannot. But no amount of equalization can help a bad =
driver, which the 901 has several of.

Bose not only don't sound good without the equalizer, they sound=20
terrible. Even with the equalizer they are very poor compared to most=20
anything else..even your JBL 100s.
