Only Dr Bose believes you can get full range sound from a 4" cone.....
In a vain attempt at this they must be EQ'ed to death trying to get
close to a flat spectral response. This places HUGE demands on the
amplifier at the extremes of the response range where it does the most
harm.
Add to it that these speakers are very room specific. They sound OK
is some rooms and like crap in others. For this reason I have never
really liked bipolar speakers...

If you have the factory stands they would be good for holding potted
plants off the floor ;)
With the EQ (and a decent amp with LOTS of headroom) they may be nice
for a cool vintage sound if you and your room like them.
Personally I don't like anything I have ever heard from the company, but
we all know that tastes vary.
