The Bose 901's were crap in their day, and have not improved with age! Power
hungry, and, because of the extreme EQ required, heavy in harmonic and IM
distortion. It IS possible to use these with a generic EQ, but this would be
very tricky due to the problem of having to determine, and mimic, the
original EQ curves. Best relegated to firewood.
