 Winter Field DAY!




Due to the predicted  temps and wind we are not doing it on location 
at Trent University.




Starting  tomorrow at 2PM I hope that everyone who is planning to 
participate will be on the air from their home shack or otherwise.   
This years plan is that each local ham compete among ourselves and in 
the over all contest to see who get the winning score. Prizes TBA




Most of us running at home will be 1H and RAC/ARRL section for the 
exchange.  To keep a level playing field for local competition  no 
more than 100W  meaning no linear.   There is no separate class or 
scoring for SSB CW or mixed mode  so any mode is OK




Everyone that is planning to participate I hope to see you on the air 
Saturday  Lets use a little RF to warm it up!




Note that there are still available bonus points for operating from 
non commercial power so if you have a genny or big battery  then fire 
it up.  I think out of fairness however for the local competition we 
will not include power and location bonuses  in the score. just the 
QSO multipliers as set out in the rules,    If you do qualify for a 
bonus  make sure you include it in the submission to WFDA.
