[PARC] JOTA this weekend.

This is a reminder that this Saturday Oct 21 is the Jamboree On The 
Air.

We will once again be doing JOTA at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. 
 Activating the Whitepine Council of Scouts Canada.


Setup is at 7:am at the park.   we will gather at Tim Hortons on the 
Parkway before we leave just before 6:30AM so if you wish meet us 
there, we would be happy to see you.


If you plan to attend Please send me an email even if you have already 
told me previously with your name and call sign. to  ve3sd at rac.ca   so 
that I can let the people at the gate who is coming.


Its is always a fun day and so far the weather report looks good low 7 
high 22.   Lunch and coffee will be provided at the site.    Setup 
7:00 till about 10:00 when they start to show up  then as things wrap 
up around 4:00 we take things down and go home.

Directions to the JOTA location at Mosport  (Canadian Tire Motor Sport 
Park)

Highway 115 to Boundary road.  This is the next Exit after Porter Rd. 
Go west on Bounty road about 5.8km to Mostport Rd Turn left to go 
south  on Mosport Rd  and drive approximately

1.2 km  to the gate.    enter the gate and an attendant will be there 
hopefully with directions  but if not here they are


Its very simple
go left before the bridge then Keep Left at next fork in the road. 
Drive just over the hill At the bottom you will go past a line of 
trees. Go left just after the trees and follow

the south side of these trees  (yes your on the grass now)  to the top 
 that where we will be.  Park close to far trees.    Total distance 
from the gate to ham site is 350m

Bring warm clothes and a change of socks   There will be dew on the 
ground and feet will get wet!
