[Uniden] New to list

Hello all. I am new to this list but not entirely new to scanner... I am in=
 the market for a BC780XLT.. Can anyone advise if there is a select=
 vendor/supplier of this scanner on the Internet. Or maybe better a list of=
 those to stay away from? Also curious as to what software most like
