Tri-County Amateur Radio Club WC5C will activate Pelican Island TX050L on Aug 
14, 2010, from 1400UTC.
Pelican Island is an uninhabitated island on Eagle Mountain Lake in North 
Central Texas.
The club members make an adventure of it, getting to the Island by kayak, canoe 
and various other water craft.
Bands are typically 40,20,15,10 however the WC5C team will attempt to honor sked 
requests for other bands.
Modes are usually SSB and CW, others by request...sometimes Satellite FM, psk31 
etc.
