[TxHam] WC5C QRV on U.S.Island TX061L 1st ever activation

Tri-County Amateur Radio Club of North Texas WC5C will be QRV on Willow Island, United States Island TX061L, on Saturday
Sep 5, 2009, from apprx 1400UTC to around 2200UTC.  This is the first radio activation of Willow Island, and so all amateur radio operators
are requested to make contact with the island to help qualify it.  This will be the 4th Island to be first-time activated and qualified by the club.
The group convoys to the islands using kayaks, canoes and boats.  Special commemorative QSL Cards will be dispatched to all participants.
Frequencies will be as close as we can get to 14.250, 7.250 mainly.  If the bands open, look for us around 21.350 and 28.350 also.  CW mainly around 14.050.
Watch your DX Cluster for reports about the operation.  The club will try to honor special sked requests during the QRV period for any requests received
