September 5, 2009 - Willo Island TX061L in Lake Worth will be 1st  Time activated by Tri-County Amateur Radio Club QRV as WC5C , 1400UTC to 2200 UTC.  Club members will travel to the island by boat, kayak and canoe.  Tri-County ARC has registered the Willow Island expedition with the United States Island awards program.  All contacts will receive a commemorative QSL Card.
