The Milam County ARES repeater went operational today at 1030 hours.
This is the first amateur repeater built in Milam County for county wide 
emergency service.

Frequency   147.020     Tone 123

The repeater is on the Sheriff's tower, owned by the County.  The antenna is 
a 9 db gain omnidirectional installed at the 150 ft. level. Transmitter 
power level is 50 watts.  LMR 400 coax is presently in use while a problem 
is repaired in the LMR 600 coax.
