Hello folks,

I just received this message  from ARRL West Gulf Vice Director Dr. David
Woolweave , K5RAV. From this and  other message received out of Austin this
morning, your phone calls and fax  message were very successful in bringing 
our
problem with SB154's language to  the attention of the members of the 
committee.
Now it is time for us to back  off and let our Austin team resume 
negotiations.
The members of the committee  are now very aware that hams across the state 
are
watching. We certainly do  not want to appear combative because this very same
committee will also be  holding hearings on SB11 which is favorable to amateur
radio.
