I'm not the only one asking the question, here and in other forums.

FWIW, I have never lived in the North Texas section. I'm interested in that
it might affect several ongoing things in ham radio, not the least of which
is the fight against BPL destroying our bands.

Recalling an elected official is always divisive and traumatic. I don't
think it's unreasonable to have the folks who have been asked to sign the
petition to get the process started - as were all of the folks on this list
- given reasons to do so.
