To all affiliates...

This Week in Amateur Radio's special Christmas
Edition (#611) for Christmas week, will be released
and on the web site on Thursday, December 23rd
in the late afternoon, early evening hours, east coast time.

ON THE WEB SITE.

At last check, the satellite versions on W0KIE satellite
network, will run as usual, Saturday evening at 9pm eastern
and Tuesday evening at 7pm.

We hope you enjoy this special no-news edition as we have
several interesting and entertaining things for you.

First off, an entertaining talk given in 1985, the keynote
speaker at that years Dayton Hamvention, was the
late Jean Sheperd, K2ROS.

Next up is an interview of Apple Computer inventor and
former amateur, Steve Wozniak. Taped by our own
technology reporter, Leo Laporte on this years MacMania
Cruise.

Finally a look at female activity in amateur radio as our own
Arielle Trimm, goes off to a hamfest for how YL's get involved
in the hobby. This segment was originally produced for WAMC
(public radio/Albany NY) and aired on NPR nationally.

All of us here at This Week in Amateur Radio hope all our affiliates
and listeners enjoy our Christmas special.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year

From the staff and crew at This Week in Amateur Radio.

As a quick note, our normal news and program release
