Happy Holidays! to all This Week in Amateur Radio affiliates.

You know, there are many people, amateurs like you, scattered
across the country, that help to keep This Week in Amateur Radio
going. And after all these years, none of use have ever met in
person. Some have been with us since day one over eleven years
ago, while others are new to the service.

As we bring edition number 610 to air this week (December 18th)
I would like to take a moment to wish you and yours the best of
the holiday season, from all of us here at This Week in Amateur
Radio.

THIS WEEK IN AMATEUR RADIO - SUPPORT STAFF

Greg Williams - K4HSM, Knoxville, TN - Our Web Guru. Went nuts about two
months ago when I told him we should begin podcasting. Learned XML/RSS/and
OPML really quick. There wouldn't be a TWIAR web site without Greg.

Dale Sargent - N0WKF, On A Farm In Iowa - Our Web audio guy. Who else would
go on vacation, arrange for high speed internet at his hotel, and take his lap
top along with him, just so he can grab the audio files from me, and put them
on the web server for you?

THIS WEEK IN AMATEUR RADIO - SEGMENT PRODUCERS

Bill Baran - N2FNH, Albany, New York - Bill produces the ever popular Random
Access Thoughts and Files. He adds the "color" to our little bulletin service.

Bill Continelli - W2XOY, Albany, New York - Bill is one of those that have
been here since day one. He's our historian, and official promoter of
radio bags.

Will Rogers, - W4WLR, West Palm Beach, Florida - Will is our version of the
late Jean Sheperd. Will has the uncanny ability to sit down in front of a mic
and just talk about something for 8 minutes for me on demand.

Chris Petersen - KG0BP, Rochester, Minnesota - Chris knows space. He should
be working for NASA.

Pat Tice - WA0TDA, Golden Valley, Minnesota @ The Courage Handi-Ham Center.
I call Pat once every two weeks to get a new segment for TWIAR from the
Handi-Hams. No one I know, has more enthusiasm for the hobby than Pat.

Vern Jackson - WA0RCR, Wentzville, Missouri - What can I say about Vern?
He has been with us literally since day one. Though thick and thin, Vern has
been there for the service. Both in producing his contest and convention
report, and putting us on the air on 1860Khz. Our hats off this holiday
season to WA0RCR.

Greg Stoddard - KF9MP, Indiana - Greg is another that has been with us for
what seems like forever. Greg pops out of the woodwork every now and then,
says hello, and lets loose with another antenna safety segment. I hope
together, we saved someones life with his advise.

Phillip Neidlinger - KA4KOE - Atlanta, Georgia - Phillip is our new kid on
the block with his Dead Electrical Dudes segments. We found him pounding
the keys on E-Ham.com and recruited him from there. We hope everyone likes
these new and entertaining segments.

THIS WEEK IN AMATEUR RADIO - ANCHORS

Well, here is the backbone of the This Week in Amateur Radio. These are the
guys and gals that bring you the service each week. All of them put up with
late night and ever moving deadlines, midnight calls from me and last minute
script changes. Happy Holidays guys!

Joe Ezell - KE5CLJ - Little Rock, Arkansas
Chris Perrine - KB2FAF - Syracuse, New York
Duane Whittingham - N9SSN - Macomb, Illinois
Larry Shilkoff - KJ6NV - Simi Valley, California
Jim Wishner - N0EXX - Saint Paul, Minnesota
Gary Clements - KC0JDT - Lima, Ohio
Ken Locke - N8PJN - Flint, Michigan
Arielle Trimm - KC2MDT - Albany, New York

And of course, our biggest thanks, go out to you, our affiliates all over
the world, and to the people that listen to us via podcast.

And a giant thank you, as we prepare to close out our eleventh year, goes to
my wife Cheryl, N2SBB, who puts up with this for all these years.

Happy Holidays and 73
