[TVI-RFI-EMI] I don't understand this at all

I've posted a couple of times that I recently went into tvi overload on my
in-house cable TV system.
With a beam heading in ALL directions EXCEPT right down the ridgeline of the
house which would be beaming due East, total wipeout on all TV sets.

Today I took down my Xmas lights. I had earlier thought that maybe they
were a access for rfi into my ac lines so when I unplugged them and tested I
was disappointed to see the tvi still just as bad as ever.

But today I took the lights down completely. It was 52 degrees in Chicago
and you can't pass up that chance.

But my tvi is gone.

Now on both the south and north front parts of my house I had a large loop
of xmas lights, running up the front of the house, across the roof line for
approximately 20 feet, back down to the first floor level and back to the
starting point.

In effect I had two rectangular loops, not connected physically, on each
side of the house which makes them about 20 feet apart.
Both of these loops would be approx 40 feet from my tower which normally is
at the 50 foot height.

I really can't see how this would cause the tvi.

Anybody have any ideas on this.
