[TVARC] Technicians Interested in HF (like the 10M contest)

Hi -

If you're a new ham--perhaps a freshly minted Technician--and are 
interested in the upcoming 10M contest, you may be in the market for a 
HF radio so you can try your hand at contesting, and HF in general! If 
you fit in this category, I may be able to help.

I have an Icom IC-718 HF (160 - 10M) transceiver that's been sitting in 
my closet. I dusted it off and made a quick QSO to Iowa, so I know it 
still works. I'm offering this to a member of TVARC for a reasonable 
price. For $500.00, you get:

  * The IC-718, with manual, in the original box
  * a Tigertronics SignaLink USB sound card so you can enjoy digital
    modes, like FT8 (but not in this contest)
  * Wiring for the SignaLink to the radio
  * An MFJ straight key, so you can try hour hand at CW and Morse code
  * And a 10M wire dipole

All you need is a feedline and power supply.
