[TVARC] ARRL Update (Dated May 22, 2024) on LoTW Outage

Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList [especially those that use ARRL’s Logbook of the World (LoTW) service],

ARRL’s LoTW is still down.  Apparently, the serious incident causing this extended downtime started on or about May 15, 2024.

Having spent most of my professional career in Information Technology (IT; mainframe computer systems), I can sympathize with the ARRL staffers who are tasked with resolving this serious incident that has adversely impacted several of ARRL’s services.  Hopefully, they will still be able to enjoy some time with their families/friends over today’s Memorial Holiday (Monday, May 27, 2024).
