[TVARC] Can anyone assist this person with his Hallicrafters S-40B?

It is probably a broken dial cord.  Google "hallicrafter s40 b Bitsaver."  It has the Photofact details and shows there are dial cords for the 2 tuning knobs. Joe AB3CR

Thanks for any assistance in locating someone who may be able to fix a tuning knob problem with my hallicrafter.

Tuning Knob
Radio works great then all of a sudden the tuning knob would not turn to locate stations.
Put another way the tuning knob just free spins but doesn't change stations.
