[TVARC] Can anyone assist this person with his Hallicrafters S-40B?

Hi guys. I received a phone call earlier from Warren Mutz. He lives in
Hadley and is having issues with his S-40B.
His message is copied below. I have no experience with this radio. Can any
of our members assist  him?

Thanks for any assistance in locating someone who may be able to fix a
tuning knob problem with my hallicrafter.
Hallicrafter model S-40B
Tuning Knob
Radio works great then all of a sudden the tuning knob would not turn to
locate stations.
Put another way the tuning knob just free spins but doesn't change
stations.
