Wow! This was one for the books. The weather was perfect: cool during setup, then sunny and warm.
Setup was straightforward - we only undid the coax 5 times on one of the antennas.🤪 The radios worked fine. Lots of TVARC members participated - more than I can recall from any of our events. After a slow start, visitors started coming by in a steady stream. We signed up something like 10 new club members. A number of people expressed interest in our license classes. Four people dropped off donations of equipment for the club.
No one got hurt (yay). And I was interviewed twice live on WVLG radio.
Congratulations and a huge thank you to everyone who participated. We represented TVARC very well today.
