I think some folks do that (run HP in a 100W contest) intentionally. Nice to, for once, have a bigger station than everyone else!

Someone once told me - never assume - but I'm too impatient; didn't read the power requirements.
Only worked two hours and I did 53 QSO's - submitted my log as a check-log.
Perhaps it is too late to teach an old dog new tricks.

I don’t know of any other contest that limits ALL participants to 100W (or less), but I like it. It certainly levels the playing field.
I worked K1CTR, and heard Bob, K3ZGA working another station, but where were all the other TVARCers?
This was a fun contest and a great way to start the year.
