[TVARC] Call for donations for another silent auction

TVARC members,

 

Our two recent silent auctions generated considerable revenue for the club.
Our Treasurer is no longer panicked about our bank balance.  The TVARC board
is willing to hold an additional silent auction, but we would need items to
sell.  So, this is an opportunity for you, the members of TVARC, to look at
that excess ham radio gear that you have had lying around in your shack or
garage, and consider donating it to the club.  We are not looking for items
to take into our club inventory.  We are looking for items to auction off in
a fundraising event.  Frankly, we are not looking for you to take this
opportunity to empty out your junk box either.  We are looking for items for
which there is a strong likelihood that someone else in the club would want
to pay money for it.  All monies from the sale of the items would go to
TVARC.

So, do you have any goodies to donate?  Let me know.  If we get enough of a
response, I will collect the items, and we will have another auction.
