They are aware of the issues and will fix them. Here is a response from Bill
who is one of the creators of 2.2.2

"the most likely cause of the WSJT-X crashes during FD by some users is a
program error we have tracked down rather belatedly. It is nothing to do
with CPU performance, it's a basic logic error that trips up the application
when an AP assisted decode is double-clicked or processed by the
auto-sequencer."
