I don't understand why he didn't opt for several towers with monoband
antennas.  The behemoth he put up will still get banged up by the wx out
there.  Clumbing up and straightening/repairing a monobander has got to
be better than crawling out on a boom to wrestle with a heavy element.

BTW, W6AM's rhombic farm in Pacific Palisades was supported by dozens of
100+ foot tall polls that Don climbed frequently like a lumberjack to
maintain them.  Bet it cost far less than W6SDR's setup since Don bought
the whole place from Press Wireless, already set up, hi.
