Pete,

Interesting that you get a similar noise pattern like I'm seeing.  It has
shown up in a number of places in TV based on the posts I've seen.  I do
not have a pool so scratch pool equipment as the culprit.  My computer is
a Dell tower right next to the rig.  I've shut it off and the noise is
still there with no change in intensity.  I've also shut down the cable
modem in my shack and the stuff is still there.  With no antenna, it is
gone (duh!).  

Next step, as John suggested, is to kill the fridge.  The TV is not a
plasma unit so it is out.  I had a new A/C, furnance, and thermostat put
in about a year and a half ago.  I don't think they are the source given
that the nice WX means they have been off for a while, hi.
