I agree about including all the digital modes.  There is sort of a rule
of thumb regarding the sensitivity achievable with the operating modes we
have and power needed.  Modes like JT65 and JT9 are the best at -25 dB or
lower while SSB is the worst.  Consequently, 10 watts on JT65 is roughly
equivalent a KW on SSB to complete a QSO without numerous repeat calls. 
KE4PT wrote an article in QST a while back where he analyzed mode
sensitivities.  I think all the digital modes were better than CW, SSB
and certainly AM.
