Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist,

The SATERN Net activated on 40 meters changed its frequency to 7.264 MHz
(instead of 7.265 MHz) to avoid QRM from an adjacent net and some
rag-chewers.

The HURRICANE WATCH Net (HCW) is also activated. The HCW is on 7.268 and
14.325 MHz. For more information, see this URL: https://www.hwn.org/.

The Voice Over Internet Protocol Hurricane Net (VoIP) is also activated.
Currently, it's activation for Hurricane Michael is from Wednesday 10/10/18
@ 5 AM EDT through Early Thursday Morning. For more details, see this URL:
http://voipwx.net/.

CAVEAT AGAIN. Remember EARS are more important than MOUTHS on the
aforementioned emergency, amateur radio, communications nets. So, BEFORE
you reach for your microphone use your speakers/headphones to become
familiar with what the Net Control Stations are looking for and be familiar
with the net operating protocols.

73,

Tony/K4QR
