[TVARC] villages insurance

folks,

I got a bill to renew insurance on the golf cart,
it looked a bit high so I went to check on it. I
found that it was insured for the purchase price
and not for the "ACV" (actual cash value), which
is all I would get for it if it were stolen, wrecked
or otherwise totaled.

When I asked for it to be recalculated and
compared with other carriers, I wound up
staying with the same carrier, but reducing
my premium by $40.00.

I also found that by having my car insurance
with the same company as the house, I got a
refund check for $150.00.

The insurance agency won't voluntarily tell you
this though. You have to ask for it yourself.
