[TVARC] ARRL News: Wisconsin FT8 Enthusiast Completes DXCC on New Mode

Hi Tony,
I find this an interesting subject. Would like to pass on the following information.
1. ARRL does NOT have a category for DXCC on FT8 - they do have one for Digital. (Verified today)
2. I have written to ARRL and asked if they plan to add such a mode and they said they had no plans to do this.
3. I personally made DXCC Digital (with LoTW confirmations) AND FT8 (with LoTW confirmations) in a little under 2 months elapsed time last year.
I congratulate WB9MSM for his achievement.
ARRL does not confirm DXCC FT8. They do confirm WAS FT8 and I have mine from last year also. I am positive that many people have achieved similar results on FT8. FT8 to me is like continuously operating in a pileup!!!
